The Ryder Cup - Past to Present
The Ryder Cup has been captivating audiences since 1927, when early encounters between the USA and the British & Irish team were fiercely competitive. After the Second World War, repeated dominance from the USA teams forced the British & Irish to look further afield for players from Europe. Since the change in teams in 1979, the matches have been far more competitive, with matches going to the wire. The 37th Ryder Cup in 2008 saw the USA team romp to victory at the Valhalla Golf Club, ending a previous hat-trick of victories by Europe.

The Open Championship - Turnberry Hospitality
For the second year running; The 137th Open Championship was won by Pádraig Harrington. Could he claim a hat-trick of victories in 2009, or will the World’s No. 1, Tiger Woods, return and claim his fourth Open Championship title? You could be there to witness all the action at the 138th Open Championship at Turnberry, whilst enjoying the finest hospitality. It is the fourth time that the club has hosted the tournament. The venue is famous for the 1977 Duel in the Sun between Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus.

The Open Championship - Turnberry Private Chalets
Turnberry will host the world-famous golf tournament from 16 -19 July 2009. Your guests will be able to enjoy all the action, just a short stroll from the newly built hospitality village. The Open Guest Private Chalets are the most exclusive hospitality offering during the tournament and are available for 30 or 50 guests. Larger private facilities are available on request. This year, The Open Guest Private Chalets can be tailored to suit your individual entertaining needs.

The 8th Annual Father and Son Tournament 2009
The 8th Father and Son Tournament to be held at the home of golf promises another truly international affair. In all, golfers from 18 different countries including New Zealand, Australia, Japan, the USA, Sweden, Taiwan and Malaysia will have competed in this unique event, held in honour of the legendary Old Tom Morris and his son Tommy.
